What is Learning Assistance?Every learner has a completely different profile of strengths & weaknesses - some may be very kinesthetic (hands-on) learners, others may learn better by reading. Some need small chunks of information with lots of practice, others can sit and absorb new information for a very long time. The ways in which learners differ are vast and incredibly diverse, so it is no surprise that there are times when the structure of lessons in the classroom is not quite suited to every individual. Enter the Learning Assistance or Learning Resource teacher; this teacher can provide individualized supports either within the classroom or in a smaller setting, teach targeted lessons in an student's area of challenge, adapt materials or provide alternate materials and more! Learning Assistance teachers are here to ensure that every student is successful, both in the classroom and in life.

A little about meI am passionate about creating literate, numerate, curious and kind kids.
